It’s official! Following significant company growth over the past six months, we are delighted to share the appointment of our new Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer, Ric Rodriguez, to lead our marketing, branding, creative, content and e-commerce strategy.
At Finsu, we aim to make sustainable shopping convenient and transparent for consumers and have experienced strong growth in H1 seeing an increase in clicks to our partners websites by +128%. Since our launch, we have deployed a number of key functionality upgrades, including launching a new values-based system, to make it easier for everyone to shop consciously. Our proprietary assessment process – developed by our sustainability expert and Co-Founder, Dr Julius Simon – gives customers a full and credible picture of a brand’s sustainability profile, at a glance, through the use of technology. We’ve also seen growth of 3.5x across our partners, with brands such as Peachaus, Bibico and LaBante joining our community.
Ric is an accomplished marketing leader, with more than ten years of experience in the digital and retail space. He has a strong track record of growing businesses. He joins us from fine jewellery disruptor, Vashi, where he played a key senior role across both marketing and sustainability functions. Prior to that, Ric held positions at NYSE-listed technology company Yext and marketing agencies within Dentsu, Croud and Hearst’s iCrossing. He is an international conference speaker and regular industry awards judge. Ric joins Finsu during a pivotal time for our business as we accelerate our brand and marketing growth by appointing Digital Works and Jargon PR as agency partners.
Passionate to be playing a key role in Finsu’s strategic direction, Ric had this to say:
